Do you know what an Integral Object is?
The USGA defines an immovable obstruction as any obstruction that:
Concrete cart paths are a common example of an immovable obstruction. Under Rule 16 you are entitled to free relief from an immovable obstruction if your ball, stance or area of intended swing is affected by the immovable obstruction.
Integral objects, however, are different. They are artificial objects defined by the Committee as part of the challenge of playing the course, and from which free relief is not allowed.
A good example at Los Lagos are the wooden planks on 14, part of the barrier wall of pond.

- Cannot be moved without unreasonable effort or without damaging the obstruction or the course, and
- Otherwise does not meet the definition of a movable obstruction.
